• Pet Peeves!

  I MUST post my pet peeves or I'm going to drown in annoyance!
  
  Pet Peeves in no order of importance because it all annoys me equally...
  
  1. Braids or Blond Blond Blond hair on Asian women. Yes, highlights are cute and look awesome but Barbi blond is NOT natural on any Asian girl and just makes you look like you want to be white. No Asian girl looks hot with Barbi blond hair. Extra annoyance points if you wear blue/green/gray contacts. I am not even going to comment on how weird braids look on Asians.
  
  2. Gym etiquette, please please please do not cover up your body odor with perfume/cologne. It makes me want to gag and while we're on the subject of gym etiquette no one wants to touch your pool of sweat you left on the machine. Please be kind and mop it up!
  
  3. BreakSk8 from America's Best Dance Crew on MTV. The other crews can DANCE but who's heard of a dance crew that dances on skates? Isn't that so LATE 90's? LAME! Why haven't they been voted off yet? And who spells sk8 with an 8 anymore? That was soooooooooooo 6th grade!
  
  4. Going to a concert and the entire audience sings with the singer on EVERY song so loud you don't hear the artist. People, I paid good money to hear my favorite artist sing LIVE not for you guys to sing off key. Also, moshing during songs is stupid. It's even more stupid when the song is a SLOW song.

  5. Talking really LOUD on your cell phone in a public place. People have no idea that I can hear all their business when they are talking on their cells. It's not even their normal speaking voice either but some super load voice I can hear all the way across the store! Tone it down!

  6. Too much cologne or perfume! I don't want to smell you coming from 10 feet away or when your going 10 feet away. It smells like you've spilled your entire bottle of Bath and Bodyworks Country Apple or Hugo Boss all over you. Gross!

  7. Cashiers that try to cheat me! I am a normal poor teacher that has to watch their paycheck very carefully since I only get 10 out of the year and we ONLY get paid once a month. Try saving for 2 months of living, a nest egg, and stretching a paycheck an entire month and see how anal you get. Anywhoo, I always try to get a good deal, 50% off, 75% off, 30% off and I'm there. I can do 5th grade math in my head and add up my purchases but my cashier who has a register can't do the same. I was thisclose to being gypped $15 at Boarders because she didn't ring up my items correctly. Same thing happened at Barnes and Noble a couple of days later with the total being $10 too high. I always try to be super conscious of paying the advertised price but you have to be viligant. Stupid companies think they can charge me more have a thing of two coming!!!

  * Author's Note: The BF said that I sound angry in this post. It's not anger but frustration since these pet peeve incidents happened over the last two days. That's a lot of annoying events in a small time frame. I'm going to go eat some cupcakes now.
